Drishti
The term drishti comes from the word drishti in Sanskrit meaning “to see”. it is usually translated as “gazing point” and refers to the direction in which you look during each posture, but drishti can also mean intelligence or the direction of one’s thoughts. The nine traditional drishti points are: Nasagmi — the tip of the nose; Bhroomodhya — the third eye (ajna chakra); Nabi chakr — the navel; Hustogmi — the hand; Padhayorugrai — the toes; ursw — left; Parsiu — right; Angusui ma dyui — the thumb; and Urdhii or antam — upward.
